In our lonely and anxious age, Pastoral work can be depleting, frustrating, and isolating. One of the great gifts our Lord has provided us is what Luther calls “the mutual conversation and consolation of the brethren.” Christianity isn’t a do-it-yourself project. We’re bound together in the holy church through the holy gifts won by Christ, distributed by the Holy Spirit.

Not only does every DOXOLOGY II conference flourish with fellowship between brothers in office as we’re fed richly from the Word of our Lord, but this conference will further examine this rich gift of our brotherhood in the holy things. We may well have called the conference “Peace in the Eye of the Storm” as the speakers’ emphasis will always be pointing to the comfort, hope and saving love of God in Christ Jesus while in the conflict of these gray and latter days.

Our gifted panel of speakers will share Biblical wisdom, historical insights, pastoral experience and valuable guidance for under shepherds who are charged with caring for comforting and encouraging souls who are isolated, angry, misled, and confused.

Pastors will find that “Life Together” will equip them to navigate the complex terrain of congregational life and its conflicts, explore the church’s role in coping with isolation, and shed light on the invaluable contributions of pastors who walk alongside congregants, delivering the Lord’s care and cure for the soul.

Naturally, the conference will provide rich worship, encouragement, counsel and spiritual refreshment throughout the event.

Who should attend:  DOX II is open to any pastor who has completed at least the Gathering Conference portion of any DOXOLOGY Classic Series.

Registration Cost, with on-campus lodging:  $475 includes program, instructional materials, lodging, meals, and receptions.

Registration Cost, for commuters:  $355 includes program, instructional materials, lunches, suppers, and receptions.  Cost does not include lodging or breakfasts.
