2025 DOXOLOGY Wisconsin Classic Series

The WI Classic Series offers an innovative program of advanced study retreats to strengthen pastors for the task of faithfully shepherding the souls entrusted to their care. It provides pastors with a unique study and renewal experience, rooted in the classic art of the care of souls (cura animarum) and informed by the insights of contemporary Christian psychology. These are professional, advanced training seminars. It is essential that each man attend the entire conference series to gain the full benefit of the training.

2025 WI Classic Series Tuition:

• $2700 (Cost to congregation:  $2600 + Cost to pastor: $100)

• Discounted, early registration rate available through 12/14/24:  $2500 (Cost to congregation: $2400 + Cost to pastor: $100)

Fees and Grant Information: The registration fee covers ten days of instruction, materials, food and lodging for pastors, three days for one lay leader, and three days for the pastor’s wife. Thanks to generous grants by the LCMS Office of National Mission and other funding partners, DOXOLOGY is able to offer each enrolling congregation a $3500 grant. The net result is that all expenses for sixteen days of instruction (pastors, lay leader, and pastor’s wife) cost only $2700 (although the actual cost of this training is really $6200 per congregation.)

• Pastors from the Minnesota North LCMS District are eligible to receive a $1350 grant graciously provided by the Minnesota North LWML. Contact Nancy Ewert (NEwert@doxology.us) for details.
• PALS graduates (over the last three years) are also eligible to receive a $1350 grant.  Contact the PALS office (Robyn.Armbrust@lcms.org) for a grant application.

For Pastors:  A word about registration for  The DOXOLOGY Classic Series Experience.  You are enrolling in a professional continuing education program of the first order. Hundreds of pastors have found this experience of learning, conversation, worship, and care to be transformational for their life and ministry.  In order to gain the full benefit, it is essential that you and your lay leaders commit to the entire package: Gathering, Encore, and Grand Reunion.  If the sequence of events in your selected training cycle conflicts with other personal obligations, you may attend a corresponding event in one of the other cycles scheduled in the current year.

Pastoral needs in a congregation cannot be anticipated, of course. Therefore upon enrolling in a given training cycle, contact another pastor who will be on call to cover sick calls, emergency pastoral needs, and funerals during your scheduled DOXOLOGY events.

Cancellation Policy:  DOXOLOGY is contractually obligated to retreat facilities for all registrants.  Therefore we cannot issue full refunds for cancelled registrations.  Cancellations received prior to 14 days before a scheduled event are eligible for a full refund less a $50 processing fee.  Cancellations received within 14 days of a scheduled event are eligible for a 50% refund.   All cancellations must be sent to Newert@doxology.us .
