August 2-4 in Kansas City, Kansas!

DOXOLOGY Grand Reunion returns to Kansas City

This year’s Grand Reunion will feature a weekend rich with fellowship, encouragement, worship, and engaging presentations with something for everyone. We welcome both couples and solos to the Grand Reunion; this isn’t a marriage retreat!

DOXOLOGY is particularly pleased to have Rev. Dr. A. Trevor Sutton and Mr. Phillip Magness join our Executive Directors as speakers for this event.

  • Dr. Sutton, an engaging speaker and LCMS pastor, recently co-authored with a psychiatrist Redeeming Technology: A Christian Approach to Healthy Digital Habits¸(CPH). He will speak on the gifts and challenges of technology for us individually, in our families, and in our congregations.
  • Mr. Magness, Cantor for the Grand Reunion, will draw us in to celebrate the joys of the Church joining in the song of Jesus.
  • DOXOLOGY Executive Directors Dr. Yahnke and Rev. Fleming will address helpful strategies for living out our lives as joyful Christians in these gray and latter days.

Rev. Dr. A. Trevor Sutton is senior pastor at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Lansing, Michigan. He has a PhD in Doctrinal Theology from Concordia Seminary, an MA in Writing and Rhetoric from Michigan State University, and an MDiv from Concordia Seminary. Sutton has written several books, including Redeeming Technology (coauthored with Brian Smith, M.D.) and Authentic Christianity (coauthored with Gene Edward Veith Jr.). He teaches, writes, and speaks frequently about technology and the church in a digital age.

Phillip’s wife, Cheryl, is Managing Editor for Reporter and has been a regular contributor to Salvo and The Federalist.

Saturday evening, we’ll enjoy the lively hospitality of Kansas City’s entertainment venues. “Saturday Night Out” has become a well-regarded feature of the Grand Reunion! You’ll enjoy the evening exploring “The Legends,” the nearby center with countless restaurants and lots of shopping. Or you may enjoy visiting the downtown “Power and Light” District. The evening will be a great time to spend with some old friends, or a chance to meet some new friends!
