At DOXOLOGY II, 2025, four pastors and scholars took up the communio sanctorum, the communion of saints and the communion of holy things, and what it means for the care of souls. Rev. Dr. Thomas Winger read it out of the Pastoral Epistles; Dr. Joel Elowsky traced it through the early church; Rev. William Cwirla located it in the congregation; and Rev. Daniel Torkelson brought it to bear on shepherding a flock through conflict. The conference met February 3–5, 2025, at Lindenwood Retreat Center in Donaldson, Indiana.
